Refund Policy

All Sales Final Unless Defective

Due to the vintage and often one-of-a-kind nature of the books we sell, all sales are considered final unless an item is materially defective or significantly not as described at the time of sale.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

• Buyer’s remorse

• Change of mind

• Preference issues

• Compatibility with personal expectations

• Minor wear consistent with age
   

Eligible Returns

A return may be accepted only if the item:

• Has a material defect not disclosed in the listing, or

• Is significantly different from the description provided

Examples of qualifying issues:

• Missing pages not disclosed

• Severe structural damage not described

• Incorrect edition sent

Normal signs of age—such as foxing, shelf wear, tanning, or minor imperfections—do not qualify as defects and are expected with vintage and antique materials.

Return Authorization Required

All returns must be requested and approved in advance.

To request a return, you must:

• Contact us within 10 days of delivery

• Provide clear photographs and a description of the issue

• Keep the item in the same condition as received

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items

If a return is approved:

• The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received

• Any damage, alteration, or use beyond reasonable inspection will void eligibility

We reserve the right to deny refunds for items returned in altered or damaged condition.

Shipping Responsibility

Unless otherwise required by law:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

• Original shipping costs are non-refundable

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the item is received and inspected.

Refunds are limited to the purchase price of the item only, excluding shipping, insurance, or handling fees.

Final Determination

All refund and return determinations are made at our discretion, based on the item description, photographs, and condition upon return.
